Recently I have received emails asking what company I represent. The answer is … more than one. I am a network marketer. Today, however, I am writing about the company that really straightened out my direction. GBG.

I was fortunate to have a great friend recommend this company to me when I was in the midst of being seriously disillusioned by my last company. I knew network marketing was a concept that I believed in, but the company was lacking.

Times are Hard

Are you among the hundreds of thousands of people struggling to stay afloat financially? There’s no mistaking it; Jobs and opportunities are scarce and people are desperate for an answer.

Try to tell a successful network marketer that his or her industry doesn’t work. You probably won’t get much of a response because they already know most just don’t get it. They won’t waste their precious time trying to convince you because they know there are people out there who will join the ranks and have far more success than they ever dreamed.

That is who we seek out. If you are self-motivated, determined to succeed, keep reading.

If you are one to research, do it. Due diligence? Do it. You owe it to yourself to dig in and check out this network marketing business, the products, the ownership, all of that.

Is this your year for financial freedom? Did you make resolutions that you will keep or have they fallen by the wayside already?

Are you, like me, finding yourself flat-out frustrated while attempting to make a living with network marketing? We see the benefits, the dream, the many so-called Gurus making tons of money, yet we are not accomplishing the success we desire.

First let me state, this information does not apply to everyone. Some successful Network Marketers will probably take offense. Hope not. It is not my intent to offend, as much as it is to figure out for myself a workable plan.

I’ve only been back in network marketing for about four years so I consider myself somewhat of a newbie. I have a lot to learn. My prior experience didn’t pan out, so I stayed with corporate employment for 30 years. Afterwards I retired but I was not old enough or rich enough to stay retired. Besides retirement was boring.

I rediscovered network marketing a few years back and got excited about the potential for financial success that was dangled in my face.

Fast forward to today and it has become apparent that in the last four years I’ve run up against many well-disguised barriers. Having met the challenges of these multiple barriers I’ve formed a disturbing point of view which I’ve discussed with many marketers, seasoned and newbies like myself.

I’ve had some successes; not as much as I intend to by a long shot. But I believe wholeheartedly in network marketing and I’ll never stop learning this profession.

In my studies I’ve come to realize something is not right for my way of thinking. Here is my opinion, and I truly hope it helps you in your decision making. Many network marketers agree with me and I suppose many will disagree, but that is the beauty of the business. We can agree to disagree.

What Exactly Is Network Marketing?

Plain and simple, network marketing is selling; selling by word of mouth, historically to one person at a time.

Why Do So Many Network Marketers Fail?

The fact is many of us in the field of Network Marketing or Multi-Level Marketing have been subjected to  an outright pack of lies, or at the minimum, half-truths.

We’ve been told such lies as ‘there is no selling involved’… there is. We are told it is not hard work. It is. We are told the products sell themselves. They don’t …and on and on and on.

Have We Been Lied To? Yes, but …

Either inadvertently or by design some of us have not been told the whole truth when it comes to our profession. I’ve been guilty of spreading some of the same lies as well because that’s the information I was taught.

In my case my up-line didn’t know any better himself. There are sincere leaders in our field, like my former immediate up-line, who believed in lifting people up, guiding them, and reveling in their successes, but they still teach the old way of thinking, like he did with me.

He had good intentions, they were just misguided. He taught me what he had been taught. If I had paid   closer attention I would have realized he was, shall I say, lacking success. Like I said before, I have learned a lot in four years.

Times (and Network Marketing) Have Changed

Evolution and change is natural. We did not all come from the same mold. As the saying goes, ‘different  strokes for different folks.’ Methods that work for an extrovert will not work for an introvert, etc., but we’re taught the same methods.

Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying we should totally abandon the old ways because some of those   methods work fine, just don’t hesitate to add new methods when they fit your way of thinking.

My bet is you have what it takes to be successful in Network Marketing. There are so many different  avenues of self expression in this industry, there has to be one that fits your personality.

What I’m saying is don’t give up on your dream. Keep an open mind, mix some old school thinking with the new and come up with your own method of operation. There are now many workable programs offered by sincere experts that will enable you to combine several methods into one cohesive plan.

You just have to pick a few that work with the way you think.

Once you find the person or persons you want to emulate, lock into their teachings until you grasp their principles and put them successfully to work for you. Don’t confuse the issue by jumping from one ‘Guru’ to the next. There will always be the next latest greatest. After you have the principles down and they are working for you on a consistent basis, then you might consider adding to your networking arsenal.

From my recent experience I find if you do that, and work within your comfort zone in the beginning,your excitement, knowledge and confidence will build. Once you get your bearings success will follow.

Your Life is Your Fault … or Choice

So is your business’s success. Is your business taking off like a rocket, or is it stuck in … indecision? You are where you are in business because of your thoughts and the actions you have taken, positive or negative.

Is your life what you thought it would be? If not, who planned it? Who set forces into action to reach this pinnacle? Where you stand in life right now is where you are, good or bad. But that’s not a negative.

Think about it

Every decision you’ve made was within the stimulus of the moment. You did what was best at the moment, and those decisions deposited you into this moment.

If in hindsight the decisions were wrong…so what? You didn’t know until after the fact. Analyze quickly, tweak it, and make a new decision.

Undecided …Hmmm … let me think about it

The recent presidential election was an excellent example. The ‘Undecided’ got a lot of press and even celebrity for their well-honed knack of … indecision.

There are still ‘undecideds’ but, NEWSFLASH!!! It’s over. If you don’t make a decision, someone will make it for you. Take too long to make a decision and …

… Poof !! Time’s up

Undecided used to mean more information was needed. In this new age it means we are dealing with information overload. Even so, somebody has to make a decision. Why not you?

People have lost life-changing opportunities because they needed to ‘think about it’, or needed ‘time to mull it over.’

Andrew Carnegie timed people when he asked them to make a decision. If it was not made in a specific time frame known only to Mr. Carnegie, the person was eliminated from any opportunity. Some got rich, but many more ended up broke with no clue as to how close they had come to greatness.

Do you think leaders today might do the same?

Digest available information; make a decision; make a choice. Be swift with your decision making. Only change your decision when it’s proven unworthy.

Channel your decisions

Make a decision and when the nay-sayers say nay; keep your eye on your prize Do whatever it takes to reach your goals.

Hello, my name is Charles and welcome to the first article on my new Blog at CreateVitality.com.

This Blog will focus on articles that help people who have a desire to prosper in their own online Network Marketing/MLM home-based business.

Let me preface today’s article to say, first things first, I am proud to be an ‘Internet’ MLM/Network Marketer, who happens to work from home. I love it.

I don’t hesitate anymore or feel the need to go into some long drawn out explanation when someone asks what I do, because I’m proud of my profession.

Due to many people not having a clue as to what online MLM/Network Marketing is really all about, I used to feel that I had to downplay my role, almost apologize beforehand, when someone asked the inevitable question.

“Yes, hi there … Charles is it? So what do you DO Charles?” As if what I DO, makes me who I am.

FYI … I market two things that are needed by virtually everyone in business; wholesome natural health products anchored by a liquid vitamin,  and a proven system that will get your message to the buying public.

It was time to move on

It has been awhile since my final ‘youridentitytheftsafeguard.com’ post; my previous Blog.

I’ve got to say I’ve missed interaction with the readers of YITS, but in the end I didn’t have my heart in it. As much as I love writing informative articles, my posting was becoming sporadic with sometimes weeks going by between posts.

It got to the point at one time where readers contacted me or left comments concerning the length of time between articles. For that I had to apologize twice in two months. I realized something was wrong.

I’ve gotten to the age now where if I’m doing something or writing about something, it has to be first of all, enjoyable; secondly, it has to have meaning; I have to feel in my gut that it is worthwhile and most of all helps someone else live a less stressful life.

I’d lost that feeling and needed change

I no longer backed away from the keyboard with that feeling of accomplishment after writing an article informing people about the dangers of not aggressively protecting their identity.

Teaching people about IDT began to feel like what I’ve heard referred to as ‘spitting into the wind.’ People are in denial and … nevermind.

Another recent event in my personal life, specifically the six-month illness and subsequent loss of my beloved grandmother, made me take pause and re-evaluate what I was doing.

Like Donny Deutsch says, if you keep hearing yourself say, “there’s got to be a better way”, there’s got to be a better way.

Well, enough about that

I’ve made sure my family’s and close friend’s identities are protected, and I’ve moved on.

For those of you who were readers of YITS, welcome, it’s great to be back!

I hope my ‘Achieve Wealth, Health and Wellness through online Network Marketing/MLM’ Blog is informative and more importantly, meaningful. And please, leave feedback. I value your
opinion.
