Are You Retired and Still Financially Dependent? Network Marketing May Be Your Answer

We Baby Boomers have entered our retirement years; an era of which many of us are totally unprepared.

Even though a majority of us have reached retirement age, or are being forced out of our jobs early, we still need to supplement our income.

Downsized, Rightsized, Capsized; these are names companies use to soften the word fired. Many of us have been dismissed by companies that promised to ‘take care of us’ if we worked for 30+ years.

While we should be relaxing in the sunshine of our ‘Golden Years’ some are looking for new employment, wondering if they will ever enjoy any semblance of retirement.

I live in a state where generations of hardworking families worked for textile mills that have shut down or moved out of state.

Now what do these people do?

Many have resorted to competing with teens for a minimum wage. That’s fine if what you want is another J.O.B. (Just Over Broke).

Many who worked for thirty years, worried about bills, had too much month at the end of the money and lived with the reality that we were one check away from desperation. Trust me, I’ve been there.

There is a Solution to Underemployment

As Baby Boomers we have been known to ‘fix it’ when a challenge comes along and I have found a way to ‘fix’ my lack of finances.

Within the last three years I have totally changed professions. I am now a Network Marketer.

I just lost some readers because Network Marketing is not for everyone, but I truly believe in this industry. Unfortunately some people with no knowledge of the profession prejudge and miss an opportunity for financial freedom.

It takes being open to new information. You’re still reading so you understand that.

When it comes to Network Marketing many of us have a bad taste in our mouth. Some Network Marketer may have botched a presentation, made lofty promises, or left us hanging after we signed on with him.

Maybe we joined a disreputable company, lost a lot of money and vowed ‘never again.’ There are many reasons Network Marketing has a negative image. Those reasons have kept us from exploring a perfectly legitimate profession and that’s a big mistake.

Find the Right Company …

… and the right mentor and you can achieve your dreams, even those that have been put on hold.

My aim is to provide Boomers and others the direction to achieve their financial and natural health goals, allowing them to be financially independent within a few years by applying basic techniques.

I’m not going to lie and claim Network Marketing is ‘Get Rich Quick’ or for everyone, but if you feel it may be for you, I urge you to check it out.

Today I’m writing to Baby Boomers specifically, but this profession is perfect for anyone in any age group.

Work from Home Online Network Marketer: You Have a Decision to Make

Did you plan to be where you are in your business life?

Everyday people make the decision to start an online home-based business, because more people are looking for and making purchases on the internet.

Who made the decision for you?

Have you achieved the goals you set when you first toyed with making a living online? What happened? Are you the conqueror or the conquered?

Life is strictly about choices. Are you living the life you choose, or the life that’s been chosen FOR you? Are you ready to quit?

EXTRA!!! Flag Poles Challenge Flag at every turn.

Does your life feel like a flag on a pole? Do you feel all tangled, unable to flow, swaying uncontrollably in the wind? Stretching west, straining east, waving north or south…Who’s making your decisions?

Your Life is Your Fault … or Choice

So is your business’s success. Is your business taking off like a rocket, or is it stuck in … indecision? You are where you are in business because of your thoughts and the actions you have taken, positive or negative.

Is your life what you thought it would be? If not, who planned it? Who set forces into action to reach this pinnacle? Where you stand in life right now is where you are, good or bad. But that’s not a negative.

Think about it

Every decision you’ve made was within the stimulus of the moment. You did what was best at the moment, and those decisions deposited you into this moment.

If in hindsight the decisions were wrong…so what? You didn’t know until after the fact. Analyze quickly, tweak it, and make a new decision.

Undecided …Hmmm … let me think about it

The recent presidential election was an excellent example. The ‘Undecided’ got a lot of press and even celebrity for their well-honed knack of … indecision.

There are still ‘undecideds’ but, NEWSFLASH!!! It’s over. If you don’t make a decision, someone will make it for you. Take too long to make a decision and …

… Poof !! Time’s up

Undecided used to mean more information was needed. In this new age it means we are dealing with information overload. Even so, somebody has to make a decision. Why not you?

People have lost life-changing opportunities because they needed to ‘think about it’, or needed ‘time to mull it over.’

Andrew Carnegie timed people when he asked them to make a decision. If it was not made in a specific time frame known only to Mr. Carnegie, the person was eliminated from any opportunity. Some got rich, but many more ended up broke with no clue as to how close they had come to greatness.

Do you think leaders today might do the same?

Digest available information; make a decision; make a choice. Be swift with your decision making. Only change your decision when it’s proven unworthy.

Channel your decisions

Make a decision and when the nay-sayers say nay; keep your eye on your prize Do whatever it takes to reach your goals.

I didn’t originate this but a wise person said:

‘Don’t complain about your life and say there’s nothing you can do, for anything you choose in life will surely come to you.’ Author Unknown.

What is your decision today concerning your online Network Marketing business? Are you a true Network Marketer? Will you make the calls, send the emails, join the forums, or quit?

Till next time, as always, thanks for reading.
